FC 1942 イチキュウヨンニイ

游戏以第二次世界大战为背景，玩家操纵美军的P-38闪电式战斗机，敌机则是日本风格的虚构机种。全部有32关，以太平洋战争的战场为主。另外《1942》在“炸弹”系统还没有广泛的被导入射击游戏时，率先加入了能够紧急回避敌人攻击的“空中回旋”，算是“炸弹”的前身。

FC1942是《194X》系列的首部作品，其难度也堪称系列之最，也是最受玩家欢迎的一部，其后的1943，1941，194以及19XX都比不上这部作品受欢迎，都是游戏一代比一代精良可玩性更高。

1942 is a video game produced by Capcom. Originally an arcade game, it was later released on the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Game Boy Color. The game was later followed by 1943: The Battle of Midway. As the name implies, it takes place during World War II in 1942 (while the sequel takes place during the same war the next year). Despite being made by a Japanese company (Capcom), the game requires you to head to Japan and defeat the entire fleet.

The arcade version has been released on the Virtual Console in Japan on December 21, 2010, the PAL region on January 21, 2011, and in North America on January 24, 2011.
